I attended the Northwest Stamp and Share event for Stampin' Up! demonstrators yesterday that was hosted by the talented Jennifer Blomquist , a.k.a. the Northwest Stamper. It was a great day of stamping, chatting, and business advice. As always, I enjoyed meeting with the ladies from the Fun N' Crafty stamp group. The four cards below are based on Jennifer's designs for the four make and takes we made as part of the event.
The first card features a new stamp set from the upcoming Stampin' Up! holiday catalog called Spooky Fun. The stamps are sized perfectly for cards! The make and take was designed as a treat bag, but I used the pieces on a Whisper White card base to turn them into a card.

The next card features a flower from Flourishing Phrases stamp set that is currently available along with a sentiment from the upcoming Frosted Medallions stamp set. I am loving the combination of Pool Party and Sweet Sugarplum with the silver accents. This was supposed to be a New Year's card with a snowflake and New Year's sentiment, but I thought "the best is yet to come" sentiment would work well for a birthday or encouragement card too.
The next card features the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set. The printed Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the red baker's twine are from the same product sweet, making for easy coordination!
Jennifer had a "try it" bar set up for us at the Northwest Stamp and Share event. It was great to be able to try out new embossing folders and framelits! The new Cable Knit embossing folder is amazing! It was my favorite item on the try it bar and I embossed several pieces of card stock with it. The Mint Macaron layer in the card below features this new folder. The sentiment is from the upcoming Suite Seasons stamp set. The bling behind the sentiment layer is provided by the new copper foil sheets-also found in the upcoming holiday catalog.
Thanks for stopping by!
